The Master Street Address Guide or MSAG is a list of streets and their attributes used to determine the routing of 9-1-1 calls to the appropriate 9-1-1 answering points. Palm Beach County 9-1-1 Management has provided the ability to SEARCH THE MSAG to see which police and fire/rescue agency responds to 9-1-1 calls originating on a street. By entering the street name, all the streets with that name will be displayed. Since some streets may run through various jurisdictions or there are multiple streets with the same name, the address ranges and community will further identify the street and or address you are looking for. You may also sort that list by clicking on the heading that you wish to sort by. This list will be updated on a monthly basis to ensure the most current information is made available. There are seven attributes to each listing in the MSAG that will be explained. DIRECTIONAL – is the N., S., NE., SW., etc. sometimes placed before the name of the street. STREET – is simply the name of the street with its road type such as Rd., St., Av., Blvd., etc. Many streets will also have a post directional such as N., S., NE., SW., etc. LOW ADDRESS – is the lowest address covered in the range. HIGH ADDRESS – is the highest address covered by the range. COMMUNITY – is either the municipality the street is located in or the postal community for those streets in the unincorporated county. ODD/EVEN – refers to the addresses within the address range. For instance the houses on the north side of a street have even addresses and are in a municipality. These are identified with an “E(ven)”. The houses with odd addresses on the South side of the same street are in the county and are identified with an “O(dd)”. If this field is blank it means that both odd and even addresses are included in the range. POLICE/FIRE – indicates the agencies that will respond to addresses described in the listing. Questions regarding entries in this data base can be directed to Palm Beach County 9-1-1 Management at madler@pbcgov.org.
